These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Curio mobile application (the "App"), operated by Tiny Studio LLC ("Curio," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Curio. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Curio generates articles and related content using third-party large language models. While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Curio is intended for general-interest learning and entertainment — it is not a substitute for professional, academic, medical, legal, or financial advice. You should independently verify any information you intend to rely on.

Requested topics are automatically screened against our content policy before an article is generated. Topics that do not pass this screening will not be generated, will not consume credits, and may be logged for safety and policy-tuning purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Article generation is metered using a credit system. Free accounts receive a limited lifetime allowance of credits (subject to a daily cap) and cannot access certain longer or deeper article options. Curio Pro is an optional paid subscription that increases your monthly credit allowance and unlocks additional read-time and depth options. Credit costs and limits may be adjusted from time to time to reflect our underlying content-generation costs.
Topic search is metered separately from article generation, with a daily limit that applies to free and Curio Pro accounts alike. Topic search also becomes unavailable once an account's article credits are exhausted, since searching for something to read serves no purpose when no credits remain to read it.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, managed via RevenueCat, and are subject to the platform's respective terms, including auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. We do not process payments or store payment card information directly.
Where a free trial is offered, it begins when you subscribe and converts automatically into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The trial length and the price that follows it are shown before you confirm the purchase. Cancelling during the trial keeps your access until the trial period ends and you will not be charged. Trial eligibility is determined by the App Store or Google Play and is generally limited to one trial per account per subscription group.
The App, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by Tiny Studio LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Articles generated for you through the App are made available to you for personal reading and reference; you may not republish or redistribute them commercially.
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. To prevent abuse of free-tier credits, we retain a non-identifying record of prior free-credit usage tied to a hashed version of your email address, so re-registering with the same email does not grant a fresh free allowance. We may also suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the credit system, or if we discontinue the App, with notice where reasonably possible.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where superseded by applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
