Something broken, confusing, or missing? Write to us — a real person reads every message.
Email us with your question, and if it's a bug, the device and iOS version you're on. That's usually enough for us to reproduce it.
curio@tinystudio-llc.comWe aim to reply within two business days.
Curio uses Continue with Google and Continue with Apple only — there are no email-and-password accounts, so there's no password to reset.
If you can't get back into your account, make sure you're using the same sign-in method you originally signed up with. Signing in with Apple when you first used Google (or the reverse) creates a separate account. Email us if you think you've ended up with two.
You can do this yourself, from inside the app:
This permanently removes your profile, preferences, saved library, reading history, and generated articles. It can't be undone.
One thing to know: we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address along with your prior free-credit usage, purely to stop free credits being farmed by deleting and recreating accounts. It contains no profile, reading, or content data and can't be used to identify you. The details are in section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
If you'd rather we did it for you, or you can't get into the app, email curio@tinystudio-llc.com from the address on the account.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so cancellation happens in your App Store account. The quickest route is from inside Curio: Profile → Account → Manage subscription, which opens Apple's subscription settings directly.
You can also get there from iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Open the Pro screen (Profile → Go Pro) and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. That re-syncs your subscription from the App Store.
If it still doesn't take, check that you're signed into the same Apple Account that made the purchase, then email us and we'll sort it out.
Generating an article costs credits. New accounts get a batch of free credits to try the app with — those are a one-time allowance, not a daily refill.
Curio Pro gives you:
Your remaining credits are always shown at the top of the Profile tab.
Articles are written by AI at the moment you request them, so they can contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. Curio is built for general-interest learning — it isn't a reference work, and it isn't a substitute for professional advice.
If an article gets something wrong, please send it to us. Reports like that are how we improve the prompts behind the writing.
Go to Profile → Notifications. You can switch off the daily reading reminder, the weekly digest, and streak nudges individually, or turn on Quiet Mode to silence all of them.
Notifications are opt-in — Curio won't send you anything until you enable it.
Yes. Profile → Reading preferences sets your default read time and depth so you don't have to pick them every time, and Profile → Appearance controls light and dark theme.
Not yet — iPhone comes first. Email us if you'd like a nudge when the Android version is out.
